Every Unity community has unique gifts to share, and every congregation occasionally needs a guest speaker. Whether it’s for a planned vacation, sabbatical, special event, or simply an opportunity to hear a message on a special topic, finding the right person to fill the platform can sometimes be a challenge.
That’s why we’re excited to announce a new project from the Unity South Central Region—the Guest Speaker Directory.
This new online resource is being created to help Unity ministries throughout our region connect with qualified guest speakers who are available to serve in a variety of ways. Unity communities will be able to browse speaker profiles and contact them directly to discuss opportunities.
The directory will include speakers who are available for Sunday services, special services, workshops and retreats, and pre-recorded messages.
For ministries
We hope this becomes a trusted resource that makes it easier to find speakers whose experience, interests, and availability fit your community’s needs. Whether you’re looking for someone nearby to speak in person or someone who can join virtually from another part of the region, the directory will offer a convenient place to begin your search.
For Unity ministers and Licensed Unity Teachers
This directory is an opportunity to share your gifts with a wider audience. By creating a speaker profile, you’ll be able to highlight your background and preferred formats, making it easier for ministries to discover and invite you.
This project is also about strengthening relationships within our region. We know there is a wealth of wisdom, experience, and inspiration among our leaders, and we want to make those gifts more visible and accessible to one another. By helping ministries and speakers connect, we can encourage greater collaboration, support congregations of every size, and expand opportunities for meaningful service.
Step 1: Speakers Wanted!
Over the coming months, we’ll be building the directory and inviting eligible speakers to submit their profiles. Once launched, ministries will be able to browse the directory free of charge and contact speakers directly to arrange engagements.
