Unity of Houston partnered with the City of Houston Health Department’s Community Re-Entry Network Program to host an Employment Empowerment Workshop supporting individuals transitioning back into their communities.

News about Unity World Headquarters’ acquisition of Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM), which was approved by membership in early November, and updates from the USCR Annual Membership Meeting.

A New Thought on Gender is a course designed to help credentialed spiritual leaders and community lay leaders deepen their understanding of gender diversity and expand their capacity to serve with love and inclusivity. 

Each Unity South Central Region board member will be writing about what they are doing in their community. Rev. Karen Saunders, secretary and nominating committee liaison, starts our series.

Starting this month, Janette will begin hosting periodic training sessions on topics relevant to those involved with YFM ministries, including YFM directors, teachers, and ministers.

Unity South Central Region (USCR) is pleased to offer the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB) Conversations support call in its popular bi-weekly meeting format, where the first meeting focuses on content while the second meeting provides a private time of reflection for the attendees.

Our third and most recent investment goes to TruthUnity.net, a resource that does not need any introduction for most of us.

As another example of our continued efforts to invest in Unity-wide projects and innovations, we are pleased to announce that our board of trustees approved an investment of $5,000 in Unity World Headquarters’ (UWH) Digital History Project.
