The 2nd annual Winter Lally was an amazing event! Snowball fights, a sing-along, and truth talks are some of what made this event so memorable. We had 65 attendees from six states and three different regions. 

The modest start of a food give-away program grew into Unity Southeast in Kansas City’s program giving away 25,000 pounds of food every month. According to Rev. Fikki, their program gave away over 300,000 pounds of food in 2025.

Unity of New Braunfels offers our Helping Hands Program for free to any ministry, including all of the policies, procedures, and materials we use to run this program.

The board is excited to share the appointment of Rev. Nina Clark. She volunteered on USCR’s nominating committee as a way to get to know our region better, and she’s excited to now serve in a larger capacity.

Unity of Houston partnered with the City of Houston Health Department’s Community Re-Entry Network Program to host an Employment Empowerment Workshop supporting individuals transitioning back into their communities.

News about Unity World Headquarters’ acquisition of Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM), which was approved by membership in early November, and updates from the USCR Annual Membership Meeting.

A New Thought on Gender is a course designed to help credentialed spiritual leaders and community lay leaders deepen their understanding of gender diversity and expand their capacity to serve with love and inclusivity. 

Each Unity South Central Region board member will be writing about what they are doing in their community. Rev. Karen Saunders, secretary and nominating committee liaison, starts our series.
