Happy Holidays & News for 2022

Dear Friends,

We had an exciting and productive month here at USCR, and I am thrilled to share what we have planned for you in 2022.

More Support in 2022
Based on your feedback, we will be significantly extending our support program in areas that were deemed most critical right now (see details below).

  • Business Mastermind

  • Extreme Self-Care

  • Innovation Hub

  • LUT Circle

  • Soul Sharing

  • DEIJ in Ministry (coming soon)

All these efforts will be available within and outside of our region, beginning in January 2022, and they will be made available to you on the basis of a love offering you deem appropriate. Learn more about these efforts below.

USCR Ministries Survey
We are delighted to have received some valuable feedback through our membership survey, which allowed us to update our records and help us set the direction for this region’s ministry support efforts. It will allow us to serve you even better.

YFM Reimagination
We are also excited to begin our YFM reimagination process in January with a selection of YFM representatives from our regional field ministries. Led by Rev. Ytonna Finnegan, YFM consultant to the Southeast Region, and USCR’s YFM Representative, Rev. Gordon Keyler, we will actively work on expanding our YFM program to include all ages.

YFM Curriculum Project
The USCR-funded and UWM-developed YFM Curriculum Project is due to be launched in January 2022. After a few months’ delays, we cannot wait to see what Rev. Diane Venzera and her team have put together for our member ministries and beyond.

Innovation Fund
We continue to work on the specifics of the innovation fund to be launched 2022. Stay tuned for more information soon.

Happy Holidays
As you can see, much is already in preparation to make this likely one of the most involved years to come. Until then, many of us have our busy season coming up. From us here at USCR—board, staff, and consultants—we all wish you a peaceful and joyful time during the upcoming holidays. Stay well-rested as you serve your congregations with kindness and grace. We all deserve the blessings we have come to shower upon ourselves.

Have a magical holiday season,

Rev. Jean-Marie Schweizer
Unity South Central Region
President of the Board
