Regional News from Convention

During the meeting, our Board members and consultant Dr. Ahrianna Platten shared valuable updates on the resources and support that USCR provides:
Rev. James Gaither, Vice President & DEIJB Representative, spoke on the powerful DEIJB Support Calls and how ministers and LUTs can earn CEU hours by participating live or watching the recordings.
Rev. Brenda Peters, Secretary & YFM Representative, highlighted our vibrant youth ministry program. USCR currently has two consultants dedicated to supporting YFM and Uniteens across the region.
Linda Gillispie, our LUT Representative, shared upcoming support opportunities for Licensed Unity Teachers.
Rev. Tomás de León, Treasurer, discussed the availability of financial assistance for Board consulting support for ministries in the field.
Rev. Karen Saunders, our current Regional Representative, spoke on scholarship opportunities available to students and LUTs on the path to ordination or certification.
Rev. Dr. Ahrianna Platten spoke about the Business Mastermind Support Calls and introduced “Steady the Storm,” a six-week program she is offering to support ministers and leaders in navigating the intense demands of this transformative time.
Rev. Kirti Cesaratto, President, spoke about Prison Ministry Support Calls that will begin Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11 a.m. CT.
