Multitudes of Thanks to Linda Gillispie

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Linda Gillispie, who has been serving as USCR’s Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) representative for the past five years. Linda is stepping away from the board this October, and we want to acknowledge her work, love, and dedication for our region and movement. When she began her service, she shared with everyone, “I love this work and know how vital Licensed Unity Teachers are to their individual ministries, as well as the Unity movement.”

Linda joined the board in 2020, a time of great change. Her service was key in keeping our LUTs connected with virtual LUT Circle calls, as well as supporting Unity leaders by hosting our bi-monthly self-care calls. Linda received her LUT credentials in 2004 while serving Unity of Austin. In 2009, she moved to Unity of New Braunfels and served that ministry as LUT, assistant minister, and bookstore manager. She has taught Unity principles in classes in the field, as well as through guest speaking in South Central Texas. Linda is a mother, grandmother, and a great-grandmother, and loves to paint, cook, entertain, and do needlework.

We wish her much love, vibrant health, and endless joy. Our sincere thanks go out for all she has done in service to Unity and our region. We love you, we appreciate you, and we behold the Christ you are, dear Linda.

With overflowing appreciation,
USCR board and staff
