What’s New in the Happy Year
Dear Friends,
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones. I hope you had a delightful holiday season, whether it was filled with meaningful services and ceremonies or family gatherings or both. May you find yourSelf even more this year so we get to see you shine ever so brightly.
What’s New This Happy Year
Our board and staff have been hard at work to evaluate the many services we provide, and we have come up with an action plan to expand and improve on our support to you. Currently, we have begun the implementation stage and are gradually working toward finalization and publication. So, stay tuned for news popping up once in a while.
As you keep exploring our website, you will see improvements to our support calls, financial support, scholarships, Youth and Family resources, and much more. Soon, we will also be adding more support calls, such as:
an Administrative Support Call focusing on those building the operational foundation of our communities,
a Diversity, Equity, Inclusivity, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB) Support Call to dive into the important conversation of multicultural competency among our congregations and leadership,
a revised Self-Care Call, now establishing a circle of trust to nurture each other without adding more onto our plate,
and a Tech Support Call hosted by the UWM Tech Team to support the efforts of improving our technological competency in ministry.
Among what will be new, we also continue our successful endeavors, such as
our Business Mastermind that offers practical solutions for the business side of developing and maintaining a spiritual community,
and our Soul Sharing Call, our most senior support service, which will be rebranded under Ministry Support Call.
As you continue to engage, we will find new ways to serve you. Let us know your needs and enter the conversation. Our outreach program is ready to receive your feedback and direct you to the right person to find the solutions you have always been looking forward. We are all in this together in the interest of our global movement.
Affirmation
For now, let us affirm the excitement that every new beginning brings as we move into this new year. We are inspired by our own growth as we find new ways to encourage others to recognize theirs. Together, we make up a strong presence of not only Truth seekers but also Truth bringers, and we find joy in the work that we call ourselves to do. May we all find ways to connect more deeply and powerfully this year so that we can offer the best of ourSelves to others. We deserve it, and so do they. And so it is. Amen.
Happy New Year,
Rev. Jean-Marie Schweizer
Unity South Central Region
